A.3.1 Memory Map
A. AppendixIDM v6.00 / OpSys™ v8.00
The memory map is important for Modbus, wireless network data exchange and data logging. The versatility of how memory can be programatically managed has been significantly expanded but does require planning and coordination for wireless networked units to effectively exchange and share data. The memory map is summarized below.
Memory Bytes 0-688 (Registers 0-344) are used for:
- Modbus R/W Holding Registers (Registers 0-344).
- Log record storage (beginning at Byte 0 / Register 0).
- Wireless network device Read/Write storage.
- Program script variable and constant storage.
Memory Bytes 690-694 (Registers 345-347) define data logging parameters. This information is system generated via the IDM's Log Configuration function. Log Update interval (Register 345) is set via the product "System Setup" displays or remotely using the Modbus Register 345 Write function.
